How It's Made
The design
Every graphic starts as a digital artwork drawn from scratch — mythology, psychedelia, street culture, geometric abstraction, character work. Nothing is stock. If it's on a Rhythm Goods board, it was made for that board.
The blank
All decks are 7-ply Canadian maple, pressed and shaped to standard street dimensions. Maple is the industry benchmark — stiff, responsive, and built to handle serious use. Sizes run from 8.0" to 8.5" width, with custom sizing available on commission.
The print
Artwork is output as high-resolution vinyl print — the same material used in professional signage and outdoor graphics, built to handle UV exposure, moisture, and hard use. Applied by hand and trimmed to the deck profile precisely.
The finish
Every board gets a finish coat. Standard options are gloss and matt. Beyond that, acrylic glaze topcoats are available in high gloss, satin, or anywhere in between — applied by hand and sanded for a smooth result. Holographic and iridescent foil overlays available in limited supply.
Custom commissions
Bring your own artwork, reference images, a theme, or just a rough concept. It gets developed into a finished graphic and presented for your approval before anything goes to print. Get in touch via the contact page to start.
